"I have always managed to lose weight on fad diets. The last plan I tried was a low carbohydrate diet and I lost 35 pounds. The problem is that I can’t eat like that forever and as soon as I started eating normally, I found the 35 pounds returned and they brought along 10 of their friends. I did get something out of the whole experience, 10 pounds and 200 ways to cook protein.
I really needed a permanent solution. In desperation (and with Lindy’s prodding), I started reading about a sensible diet plan where you eat real food and they suggested, suggested mind you, that I actually should eat some carbohydrates. What a concept! I started about 4 weeks ago and have lost 5 pounds. However, the truly amazing thing is the way I feel. I have more energy than I have ever had, and there are no “highs” and “lows”. No more sugar crashes and I can eat all the time. In fact the required portions are sometimes too much. I have learned to cut them in half and eat ½ in the morning when I get up, ½ about 2 hours later. Then for lunch I do the same thing. This way I eat a balanced meal approximately 4 or 5 times a day and never feel hungry or deprived. Proper nutrition, who would have thought? Lindy’s nutrition plan is great and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to feel great, lose weight and improve their health. Combined with exercise, I feel great!"
